This morning we went to the Seven Stars farm to see the cows and sample the yogurt that they make there. Mark Dunphy, who works there, talked to us about the cows and how they make the yogurt. He stressed the importance of the cows being well cared for and having as much freedom as possible. The cows there are treated very humanely, and even have foam padding beneath a layer of plastic in their stalls! We also discovered that happy cows make good yogurt...everyone loved it!!
In the afternoon, we drove to French Creek State Park for lunch and to swim in the huge pool there. Everyone had a blast!
